DescriptionWe are searching for an OB Float Pool Nurse! – someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or other nursing degree with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact license
- BLS certification required
Experience:
- Minimum of 9 months of professional nursing experience
Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills
- Strong time and resource management abilities
- Demonstrates flexibility, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of unit-specific equipment and the nursing process
- PALS certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years in women’s services
- Experience on OB Triage, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum
- High-Risk Women’s Services (including GYN and antepartum OB patients)
- Mother/Baby Unit (Couplet Care)
- Newborn Transition Nurse (providing care to newly delivered newborns)
