Position Summary
The Regional Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting Electrolit’s field and account teams, distributors, and retailers by executing national and regional shopper marketing campaigns that drive product visibility, sales opportunities, and improved execution within assigned regions. The role procures and deploys retail trade assets, manages to assigned budget, and ensures all stakeholders have the resources needed to execute marketing programs effectively. This position also builds strong relationships with retail and distributor partners to understand market needs, resolve obstacles, and strengthen Electrolit’s presence across priority markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute Electrolit’s shopper and trade marketing programs in assigned regions, ensuring alignment with national strategy.
- Provide field and account teams with promotional resources, trade assets, and sales materials.
- Collaborate across sales, retailers, and distributor teams on Electrolit campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with regional account sales teams, distributor reps, and field sales teams to support visibility and sell-through.
- Identify obstacles such as display gaps, or trade asset deployment logistics and develop or escalate solutions to meet in market start dates
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure retail activation supports broader commercial priorities and regional goals.
- Visit stores and coach sales teams on merchandising standards and maintaining looks of success.
- Regularly review display, merchandising, and execution data in Repsly to assess program compliance, quality of execution, and overall effectiveness.
- Provide clear, timely updates to sales and marketing leadership on execution performance, display compliance, and key wins or risks using Repsly insights.
- Track program results and provide timely reporting on execution, competitive activity, and retail conditions.
- Support incentive programs, retail contests, and localized promotions that drive incremental visibility and volume.
- Execute and support local tradeshows that align with national strategy.
- Gather field feedback to improve future programs, toolkits, and communication strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of trade marketing, retail execution, and distributor partnerships in CPG or beverage industries.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with retailers, distributor partners, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, display standards, and in-store promotional strategy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially when training or influencing external partners.
- Ability to analyze field execution and identify opportunities to improve retail presence.
- Organized and able to manage multiple programs, accounts, and priorities across a wide territory.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting mobile execution data and photo audits, with Repsly strongly preferred.
- Ability to translate campaign data into clear insights and recommendations for sales and marketing leadership.
- Proficiency with basic Excel/Google Sheets, and photo documentation best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent brand execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, sales support, or retail activation.
- Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or retail accounts preferred.
- Experience in beverage, CPG, or fast-moving consumer goods highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned region.
Other Requirements
- Field-based role requiring regular travel to retail accounts and partner locations.
- Occasional evening or weekend work depending on promotional events or retail needs.
- Ability to transport displays, POS materials, and product as needed.
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with manager and core teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry retail displays, POS materials, and product cases (up to ~30 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and navigate stores for extended periods.
- Frequent use of a mobile device for reporting, photos, and communication.
- Occasional setup and breakdown of retail or promotional displays.
