Are you a proven leader ready to take on a high-impact role with a growing portfolio? Our confidential client is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a group of 10+ LIHTC communities in North Houston. This is a critical opportunity for someone with a strong tax credit background who can provide strategic leadership, improve property performance, and build a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and performance of a portfolio of 10+ tax credit properties
  • Address challenging delinquency rates and below-average occupancy across the region
  • Implement strategies to boost collections, stabilize occupancy, and improve NOI
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to onsite property managers and their teams
  • Provide training, support, and structure to teams lacking experienced leadership
  • Monitor compliance with all LIHTC program guidelines and company policies
  • Partner with ownership to set goals, report on progress, and ensure property-specific plans are in place
  • Travel to properties regularly to ensure accountability, motivate staff, and identify areas for improvement


Requirements

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years of multi-site regional experience in affordable housing
  • Experience managing 10+ sites, ideally within the North Houston market
  • Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance and operations
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate, guide, and grow underperforming teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a performance-focused environment
