Real Estate Manager - Commercial

NOV is hiring a Commercial Real Estate Manager in Houston! The Real Estate Manager will play a critical role in coordinating with business units to assess and fulfill facility requirements, managing both owned and leased properties with a particular focus on non-domestic holdings. This role involves collaboration with real estate brokers, direct negotiations with landlords, and active participation in special projects aimed at optimizing our real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with NOV’s business units to progress new facility requirements for both owned and leased properties.
• Assist in managing global real estate assets, focusing on non-domestic holdings, including tracking important deadlines and other key dates.
• Collaborate with outside real estate brokers to identify new facility opportunities, negotiate lease terms, and list owned properties for sale.
• Oversee the sales process of owned properties to ensure successful and timely transactions.
• Engage directly with landlords to negotiate lease terms and resolve lease-related issues.
• Participate in strategic projects to identify and extract value from the real estate portfolio
• Run and update monthly reports to reflect the progress of projects, real estate requirements, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in real estate asset management.
• 3-5 years previous Commercial Real Estate experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CoStar or similar real estate management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong dedication to data accuracy.
