Our client, a well-respected Houston law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Finance Paralegal to join their transactional team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate, banking and financial transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in loan documentation, title and survey review, due diligence, and closing coordination. You’ll work directly with attorneys, lenders, and title companies to support complex real estate, banking and finance matters from inception through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review loan documents and related transactional materials.
  • Conduct and analyze title and survey reviews to support real estate-secured lending.
  • Coordinate directly with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.
  • Manage detailed closing checklists and assist with all aspects of the due diligence and closing process.
  • Organize, track, and maintain transaction files from inception through post-closing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department focused on real estate, banking and finance law.
  • Proficiency in document drafting and transactional support.
  • Experience with title and survey review, and familiarity with real estate lending documentation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
