Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor - Rework & Repair ensures product quality through safe handling, inspection, rework, and pre-staging of NCR modules. This role supports RS's culture of safety, respect, integrity, quality, teamwork, and professional growth.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Participate in quality and continuous improvement initiatives based on the 7 Principles of Manufacturing.
Assist with NCR inventory counts and ensure modules are properly stored.
Pick, inspect, stage, and perform rework on NCR modules and assembled poles.
Follow rework procedures and visual aids for consistent results.
Complete rework reports documenting work performed, results, and time spent.
Help develop and improve rework instructions and documentation.
Work with the Quality Lab to harvest module samples for testing.
Conduct visual audits of dunnaged poles before shipment and perform touch-ups as needed.
Serve as backup for Production Quality and Order Prep roles.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
Knowledge of RS module quality requirements; prior Quality Auditor experience is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Lift Truck certified.
Combination of office and manufacturing floor.
Exposure to hot/humid plant areas; regular outdoor work.
Physically active tasks using hand tools and interacting with machinery and chemicals.
