Position Summary:
Under supervision of the director, the program administrator in Jewish Studies is responsible for all front office functions and serves as the problem-solving point person for a variety of matters. They will also supports postdoctoral fellows, faculty and serves as the face of the department to all visitors. They will coordinate many of the administrative functions for the program, its faculty and special events activities, and maintains the program website. The program administrator interacts daily with faculty, students, visitors, other university staff, and various individuals and organizations outside Rice University.

Workplace Requirements
This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in-person in the program office. Per Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: 25 – 27$/HR This is a part-time, non-exempt, benefits eligible position, approximately 20 hours per week.
