Plumber Apprentice

Polk Mechanical is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade while working on a variety of commercial projects.

Position Overview

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems. Projects range from new commercial construction to renovations and service work on existing structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Work on heating, water, and drainage systems from rough-in to final installation.
• Support journeyman plumbers in daily tasks and job site operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the trade.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial plumbing environment.
• Prior experience in HVAC or mechanical systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team setting.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver's license
