We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support our employees and ensure their payroll and benefits experience is seamless and accurate. If you’re passionate about operational excellence and top-notch employee service, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process semi-monthly payroll in Paylocity with accuracy and compliance.
  • Support payroll across four states: TX, AL, GA, and FL.
  • Validate timecards, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.
  • Partner with managers to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely approvals.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage day-to-day benefits operations, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, brokers, vendors, and Paylocity.
  • Coordinate with brokers and vendors to resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Support annual open enrollment, benefits communications, and compliance testing.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee records in Paylocity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll/benefits regulations.
  • Prepare and support audits (401k, workers’ comp, HRIS data integrity, etc.).
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and employee experience initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2–4+ years of payroll and/or benefits administration experience (automotive or dealership experience preferred but not      required).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, deductions, and benefits processes.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Salary Description
$21/hr – $26/hr, commensurate with experience
