Join a leading healthcare facility as our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Manager, where you'll lead a dedicated team of professionals in delivering exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend clinical expertise with leadership skills in a state-of-the-art Level III NICU.
Position Overview:
As NICU Nurse Manager, you'll drive clinical excellence while mentoring staff and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in our family-centered care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of NICU nurses, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development
- Collaborate with the Director to align department activities with facility goals and objectives
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics
- Oversee clinical operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Provide clinical support and expertise to nursing staff
- Coordinate care delivery across Women's Services Units
Required Qualifications:
- Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (Texas license required within 60 days)
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Strong clinical and organizational leadership abilities
