What We're Looking For
The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, support, and security of enterprise and hybrid network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet technologies, along with a strong background in Azure and other cloud-based platforms. Candidate must have experience in Citrix Netscaler and VPN client connectivity. This role ensures connectivity, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
What You Will Do
• Responsible for maintaining the daily operations of all network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, access control servers and other related equipment. Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LAN, WAN and WLAN.
• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet network devices.
• Manage Citrix Netscaler Load Balancer as well as Citrix VPN client connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and optimize configurations for reliability and performance across the enterprise.
• Implement and administer networking and security solutions, including Cisco IOS, Meraki Dashboard, and Fortinet FortiGate appliances.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure Azure network environments, access control, ensure security and compliance of cloud resources, including VPNs, NSGs, and virtual appliances.
• Integrate cloud and on-premises infrastructure for seamless and secure operations.
• Apply and enforce network security policies, update firewall rules, and manage access controls.
• Maintain network diagrams, inventories, IP addressing, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other PCCA teams to align network and cloud security standards.
• Participate in after-hours support and incident response as needed.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Cisco Catalyst switches; Cisco ISR routers; routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP); TCP/IP; DNS; VLANs; VPNs; QoS; IPSEC; RADIUS; two-factor and single sign-on authentication.
• 5+ years’ experience in network implementation and administration supporting Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet equipment.
• Experience with Citrix Netscaler Load Balancer and Citrix VPN client connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with the deployment and support of Azure networking and security solutions.
• Proficiency with core networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs).
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and monitoring network and cloud security controls.
• Understanding and enforcement of security protocols for Cloud based infrastructure. This includes Access and Identity Management, Data Protection Protocols, Application and API Security, as well as Compliance Standards.
• Experience with the Meraki cloud-managed platform.
• Effective troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CCNA, Cisco Meraki CMNA, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• CCIE/CCNP certification; Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco ASA/FirePower, Cisco Nexus experience is a definite plus.
• Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with network security solutions (e.g., Sentinel One).
• Scripting for network automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience integrating Windows administration (Intune, Group Policy).
