The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking experienced Full Stack Software Developers to support NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in the design, development, and testing of the Chiron Exploration Health Portal (CEHP). CEHP is a next-generation electronic health record that will allow astronauts and ground-based providers to securely store, access, and exchange medical data across all phases of exploration missions. Unlike NASA’s current ground-only EHR, CEHP will provide a crew-facing system that remains effective even with limited or delayed communications. On long-duration missions, crew members and flight surgeons must be able to quickly view health data, make informed decisions, and coordinate care -- without real-time support from Earth. These positions directly contribute to that capability and support NASA’s vision for the International Space Station, the Artemis Lunar Gateway, and future missions to Mars.
These software engineering roles focus on the development of a web application for collecting, managing, displaying, and relaying crew health information between in-mission crew and healthcare providers on the ground. These positions require working closely with a team of developers, interacting with end users, designing and implementing new features, providing customer support, and supporting technical presentations and demonstrations.
These roles require self-motivated individuals with strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to solid technical expertise, the successful candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, maintain positive relationships with customers, and bring a team-oriented attitude. The ability to adapt to new challenges, take ownership of assignments, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts is essential. Most importantly, the individuals must share our passion for human spaceflight and the excitement of supporting NASA’s ongoing and future exploration programs.
This work takes place at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, a dynamic and highly collaborative environment that is central to human spaceflight and space exploration.
