Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

• Project manager responsibilities (A & E design, survey, facility assessments, construction administration, site walks, and field service)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Lead project designs and provide technical guidance\/oversight<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Mentor\/train junior staff<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Assist with development and execution of strategic goals to drive growth and opportunities<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Build\/maintain client relationships<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide administrative oversight (develop, communicate, and track workflow tasks, scheduling, consistency with project plans, keeping project within scope and on budget)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

   <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/p>

  Requirements:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/p>

  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the field of Education (PK\-12), Healthcare, commercial and\/or Federal projects<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Extensive experience in HVAC and Plumbing Design<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • PE License preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Project manager experience<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience developing\/overseeing project scope, schedule, and fees for new projects<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience adding additional scope\/services to an existing project to will still be successful for the client and company<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to read\/understand project requirements for project execution (Contract documents, project scope book, technical plans\/specifications)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Proficient in Building load calculations, sizing equipment and completing mechanical design with an array of systems<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Extensive experience working with ASHRAE, ASME, mechanical codes, plumbing codes and educational design standards for the Texas markets<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Some travel required<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

    Salary is commensurate with experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
