Primary Purpose:

 

To assist the Marketing & Client Engagement division with its goal of marketing/branding, informing and responding to stakeholders to educate the community at large on the benefits of partnering with HCDE. Assist with maintaining the CRM database of potential/current HCDE clients to help HCDE divisions market programs in order to meet revenue goals. Professionally represent HCDE and generate positive visibility in target markets.

 

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing/Communications or other related area

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to assist in developing strategic marketing plans.
  • Create branded PowerPoint presentations specific to assigned projects.
  • Ability to multi-task projects.
  • Develop marketing timelines and processes that can be implemented throughout HCDE.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AP style, copywriting and editing. The ideal candidate will provide a portfolio of written work.
  • Working knowledge of promotions, content marketing (e-blasts/social media/web), branding, SEO, analytics (including Google Analytics), project management, podcasting and advertising.
  • Ability to acquire additional software and / or programming skills as necessary for website, social media platforms, customer relations management (CRM) system, etc.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office and Adobe suite applications—InDesign, Photoshop (Dreamweaver, Illustrator a plus).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design / layout. The ideal candidate will provide a portfolio of creative work.
  • Ability to schedule and initiate social media campaigns.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Bilingual a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Three-plus years of marketing and communications experience.

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Promote HCDE through marketing efforts at conventions, conferences and other appropriate meetings that reach the HCDE client audience; make follow-up welcome calls as appropriate to assist divisions in building revenue.
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM database
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and adhering to the email campaign calendar; create and assist in creating emails to segmented target markets; send email campaigns to targeted markets.
  • Analyze data to assess effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Ability to assist in developing strategic marketing plans.
  • Create branded PowerPoint presentations specific to assigned projects.
  • Ability to multi-task projects.
  • Develop marketing timelines and processes that can be implemented throughout HCDE.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AP style, copywriting and editing.
  • Handle all advertising and promotional items.
  • Develop, compile, maintain and file all reports, records and other necessary documentation.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Assist director of the division with marketing strategies, projects and initiatives that support revenue goals and improve HCDE visibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
