Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production operations. This role is vital in maintaining our commitment to product excellence and driving efficiency in our manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring consistent achievement of production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

2. Oversee the entire production process, implementing rigorous quality control measures to ensure product reliability and performance

3. Manage production schedules and workflows to meet customer demands and deadlines

4. Develop and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

5. Optimize component sourcing and inventory management to support smooth manufacturing flow

6. Implement and refine production protocols, driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes

7. Analyze production data and KPIs to identify and implement efficiency improvements

8. Manage manufacturing budgets and control costs effectively, ensuring responsible resource allocation

9. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and champion sustainable manufacturing practices

10. Collaborate with other departments to align production capabilities with sales forecasts and customer requirements

11. Maintain and improve manufacturing equipment through regular maintenance schedules and upgrades

12. Prepare and present comprehensive manufacturing reports to senior management, maintaining transparency in all communications


Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus

- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing management experience

- Proven track record in team leadership and management

- Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems

- Proficiency in MS Office suite and data analysis tools

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methods

- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

- Relevant safety certifications and thorough knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing environments

- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational efficiency

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a drive for process improvement

- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics to drive operational excellence

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels

- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Strong project planning and management capabilities

- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships across departments


Physical Demands and Work Environment

- Reports to the General Manager

- Standard business hours with flexibility for overtime when required

- Physical demands: Regular presence on the manufacturing floor, occasional office work

- May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 25 lbs

- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the manufacturing facility

- Adherence to all safety protocols and use of appropriate PPE in designated areas
