Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to enhance process capability and manufacturing readiness
- Lead manufacturing launch activities for new or revised products, ensuring seamless integration into existing production workflows
- Create and maintain accurate BOMs and routings for new part numbers, continuously refining them through Lean Manufacturing principles
- Design, test, and source specialized tools and equipment to support new or improved manufacturing methods with comprehensive cost justification
- Provide expert technical guidance for complex manufacturing challenges, serving as a key resource for production teams
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, machine reliability issues, and workflow inefficiencies through collaborative problem-solving
- Prepare detailed facility and equipment layouts using advanced CAD Engineering software
- Develop and document comprehensive manufacturing procedures and technical reports
- Partner with Engineering to ensure accurate BOM implementation in Windchill system
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Category Management, and Manufacturing teams to optimize manufacturing COGS
- Work with global cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing technology best practices
- Support Quoting and Order Management processes with timely technical information
- Monitor production metrics and implement data-driven process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop thorough cost justifications for improvement projects
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and optimize production workflows
- Champion the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities comply with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies
- Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection as core values in all decision-making
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Health, Safety, Security & Environmental protection
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Company's Quality policies and contribute to the improvement of Weatherford's Management System

QualificationsΒ
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an accredited university
- Required: 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred: Lean Manufacturing experience or Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification
- Preferred: Oil & Gas manufacturing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering processes and principles in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with facility workshop tools including test ovens, soldering equipment, and ESD workstations
- Expertise in machine design, welding processes, and specialized manufacturing processes (conformal coating, grinding, elastomer manufacturing, painting, bonding, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD (Mechanical Desktop a plus)
- Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies
- Strong MS Office suite skills
- Preferred: Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
