Description

A skilled Manufacturing Engineer responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting new product development while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities Technical & Operations

•    Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to conceptualize, design and test new products and technologies, using the latest technologies to reach target costs (DtC) and improve parts manufacturability (DfM).
•    Support commercialization activities, ensuring the successful launch of new products and processes.
•    Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
•    Develop and implement best practices in advanced manufacturing techniques, including 3D printing, automation, and digital technologies.
•    Conduct root cause analysis on NCR (Nonconformance reports) and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
•    Collaborate with production teams, internal and external, to optimize manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
•    Perform should-cost analysis to estimate the fair cost of materials, components, and manufacturing processes.

Financial
  • Achieve commercial cost of goods sold targets for assigned products
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of all assigned projects
  • Report variances between target costs and commercial targets
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in manufacturing technology environment
  • Strong expertise in machining processes (milling, turning, grinding, drilling)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with machine setup, cutting tool selection, and performance monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and negotiation skills
Preferred
  • MBA or master's degree in engineering or supply chain management
  • Proficiency with aPriori, Windchill, Oracle, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Oil and Gas downhole tools
  • Change management experience

 

Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 10% annually
