A confidential defense contractor is seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor<\/b> to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation operations within a controlled DoD environment. This role oversees government -owned materials and ensures full compliance with federal, defense, and international regulations.
<\/p>

This is an onsite leadership position responsible for supervising a bargaining -unit team, ensuring secure and on -time delivery of critical components, and maintaining strict adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h2>
  • Lead a team of hourly warehouse employees; communicate shifting priorities and ensure operational readiness.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Oversee the secure movement, storage, and tracking of U.S. Government -owned inventory.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure all shipments meet DFARS<\/b>, Defense Transportation Regulations<\/b>, ITAR<\/b>, and internal compliance requirements.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Manage logistics activities from point of origin through end -customer delivery (domestic and international).
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, bills of lading, quantities, part numbers, and certification records.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain SAP or similar ERP records, including DD1149s, DD250s, and material tracking.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Report controlled material movements in accordance with internal and federal compliance protocols.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Support other warehouse leads as needed during absences or peak activity periods.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Create and revise work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Required Qualifications<\/b>
    <\/h2>
    • VantageClear Certification or<\/i> equivalent DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
      <\/p><\/li>

    • U.S. Citizenship (required for access to controlled government material)
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Warehouse Management and Transportation/Logistics experience
      <\/p><\/li>

    • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Experience shipping/handling domestic and international materials
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong understanding of controlled government property management
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Preferred Qualifications<\/b>
      <\/h2>
      • Experience with ITAR<\/b>, DOT<\/b>, and US Customs<\/b> regulations
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Prior experience managing government -furnished material
        <\/p><\/li>

      • SAP or equivalent ERP proficiency
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Experience with 3PL logistics operations
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Knowledge of DFARS, WAWF, DCMA processes, and government receiving/inspection procedures
