Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Energy & Environmental Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Houston. This is a 100% in-office position.

Duties

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through discovery, resolution or trial, post-trial, and case closure
• Prepare court filings and assembling of exhibits
• Draft and respond to discovery demands (interrogatories documents production, etc.)
• Assist with preparation and support for depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Review and summarize depositions and medical records
• Maintain case dockets and calendars
• Assist with document collections, reviews, and document productions
• Coordinate electronic discovery

• Flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed

Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program highly desired
• Minimum of 3 years prior paralegal experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the litigation lifecycle: case management, document review, and trial support
• Preferred experience with Relativity or a comparable litigation support platform
• Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
