We are currently seeking a Turnaround Project Administrator, responsible for a variety of accounting duties in a routine and recurring nature. Positions typically involves performance of time entry, per diem allotment, check distribution, third party allocation, purchasing responsibilities and invoicing of client. The Position will require a working familiarity with general accounting functions and standard operating procedures in the Piping, Mechanical, and Construction Industries.
Completes project setup for a variety of project types (LS, T&M, Unit Rate)
Accurately balance timesheets and data entry of employee’s time daily into systems.
Perform complete payroll process for the business unit.
Primary point of contact for employees and site managers questions with regards to time/pay policies and guidelines.
Generates invoices and supports the billing submittal process to include preparation of backup documentation and submittal into WEB based systems.
Must be a critical thinker and able to develop solutions of their own to solve problems.
Ability to purchase construction materials as needed for a job site.
Must be able to track ongoing cost of projects through multiple/reporting methods.
Other duties as assigned.
Completes client reporting such as cost reports, daily headcounts, etc.
Comprehension and understanding of the client contract pertinent to the job assignment.
College graduate, with a bachelor’s degree from a state accredited university in either, Business Administration or Accounting preferred. or
Five (5) plus years working experience, in a Project Accounting/Administrative position within the Piping, Mechanical or Construction Industries.
