Junior Construction Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our Galleria-area Buildings Group. In this role, you will assist in estimating costs for a variety of commercial and industrial projects, including office buildings, laboratories,  warehouses, and production facilities within the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors. Our projects often reach and exceed $25 million in value, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional architectural design and premier industrial construction services across the USA.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Support the preparation of quantity take-offs, pricing, and bid analyses. 

- Review construction drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals. 

- Assist in maintaining and updating subcontractor and vendor databases. 

- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. 

- Collaborate with estimators and project teams on day-to-day estimating tasks and proposal development.

-Ability to perform job site walkdowns when needed to verify construction details.

- Experience with soliciting subcontractor bids via Procore is a plus

Qualifications: 

- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 

- 2–3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating. 

- Experience with ground-up commercial or industrial projects is a plus. 

- Familiarity with estimating software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

- Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
