General Overview:
A System Administrator is a professional who plays an important role in maintaining organizational policies to ensure integrity of computer systems. A system administrator ensures that technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting company requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meeting with supervisor to discuss system needs/improvements.
  • Managing Windows, Linux or Mac systems
  • Troubleshooting operating system issues.
  • Group policy and Active Directory management
  • Training staff on newly deployed group policies and or software
  • systems.
  • Fixing hardware and software issues related to system admin.
  • Managing/maintaining virtual environment
  • Creating/managing/maintaining virtual machines/servers
  • Managing/maintaining physical servers
  • Backup and restore systems as needed
  • Maintaining server rooms organized and clean
  • Maintaining Monitoring systems (Zabbix, Graylog, etc.)
  • Monitoring systems for failures
  • Manage and support systems through MDM
  • Manage and support endpoints/anti-virus software
  • Manage and maintain inventory
  • Managing system administrator related projects
  • Creating/Maintaining documentation for Procedures, Policies and Forms

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Experience and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems, Windows, Linux and Mac
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good network understanding.
  • Familiarity with hardware
  • Knowledge about OS upgrade/downgrade
  • Cybersecurity sense.
  • Strong data backup/recovery knowledge
  • Strong Group Policies management understanding
  • Scripting knowledge
  • Good project management understanding
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Responsible, dependable, and proactive in system management

Security Requirements:
  • A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be signed at the contract signature time.
