DEFINITIONS
This document describes the roles and responsibilities of a system administrator.
GENERAL.
A System Administrator is a professional who plays an important role in maintaining organizational policies to ensure the integrity of computer systems. A system administrator ensures that the technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting company requirements.
Β RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting with supervisor to discuss system needs/improvements.
Managing Windows, Linux, or Mac systems
Troubleshooting operating system issues.
Group policy and Active Directory management
Training staff on newly deployed group policies and or software systems.
Fixing hardware and software issues related to system admin.
