Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team at Centre Technologies, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The IT Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and service management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Management and Accountability: Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure accountability for team performance and adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Client Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Address client concerns promptly and provide solutions to improve their IT operations.
  • Executive Escalation: Serve as the point of contact for executive-level escalations. Resolve complex issues efficiently and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. Facilitate communication and coordination across departments.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of IT services to clients. Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with stakeholders and manage resources effectively.
  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services. Ensure the security and reliability of all systems.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in IT services.
  • Budget Management: Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, allocation, and cost control. Ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect client data.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within an MSP environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, project management, and service delivery. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
