The Human Resources Support Specialist is responsible for assisting in benefits administration, payroll processing, credit card expense tracking, and other duties as assigned.
Human Resources & Payroll Support
Health/Dental/etc. Insurance Benefits Management
- Provide eligible employees with information on insurance options upon qualifying events.
- Transmit information on employee selections to broker and carriers.
- Serve as point of contact for Insurance support.
- Facilitate annual Open Enrollment.
401K Benefits Management
- Determine employee eligibility on quarterly (rolling) basis.
- Reach out to employees to communicate enrollment options.
- Process enrollment and deductions.
- Collect and process signed enrollment documentation.
- Complete 401K Annual Report in conjunction with the Director of Finance.
- Serve as point of contact for Mutual of America support.
- Reconcile and import 401K data into Finance software.
Payroll
- Bi-weekly review of payroll reports to verify deductions
- Process garnishment payments
- Process 401K payments
- Pull, archive and save weekly payroll reports
- Prepare Payroll Related Audit Schedules
- Transfer Data into Finance Software for each Payroll Run
- Serve as point of contact for iSolved Customer Support
- Audit Payroll Expense Quarterly
Additional Duties: Communications, Credit Cards, etc.
- Monitor Finance inbox and coordinate with appropriate team member accordingly.
- Reconcile monthly credit card activity.
- Other duties as assigned
