Our client, a reputable and growing Houston area law firm, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. The Human Resources Manager oversees the HR department, serving as a reliable resource for HR, payroll, and benefit matters. This role manages the HR team and Houston receptionist, and is responsible for non-attorney recruiting and staffing, compliance, wage and salary administration, benefits, employee relations, training, safety, leave of absences, payroll, and wellness initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, 5 or more years of experience in a law firm environment with at least 3 years in HR management.

 

Must have advanced skills in HRIS platforms (UKG), payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

 

Preferred qualifications include SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification, expertise in multi-state HR compliance, and a proven track record in leading HR process improvements and change management initiatives.
