Description

 

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, overseeing daily HR operations, and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff. This position plays a vital role in supporting a culture of accountability, professionalism, and performance as we continue to grow and serve our communities in times of need.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training & development, compliance, and performance management.
     
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure strategic hiring plans align with business goals.
     
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
     
  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook as needed.
     
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee-related matters such as performance improvement, discipline, and conflict resolution.
     
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as liaison with insurance providers.
     
  • Manage payroll processes in coordination with finance and third-party vendors.
     
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with the Paul Davis values.
     
  • Lead employee engagement efforts and drive retention strategies.
     
  • Conduct investigations and resolve workplace concerns with professionalism and discretion.
     
  • Oversee safety and workers’ compensation claims in coordination with leadership.
     
Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
     
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR leadership role (preferred experience in construction, restoration, or field-based operations).
     
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
     
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
     
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
     
  • HR Certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, etc.).
