Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for supporting the Corporate HR Office with all operational activities. Duties include, but not limited to, verifying and entering employee HR change, gathering appropriate documents, auditing employee data, assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing, answering calls and assisting with other projects.

Essential Functions

  • Provides support to field locations for the job sourcing and hiring process, answering questions, and guiding managers and candidates through onboarding from applicant to hire.
  • Sources new applicants for hiring managers, using pre-employment screening and assessment tools to reduce time-to-hire and turnover.
  • Works with staffing agencies to review, adjudicate and schedule candidates for open corporate office roles.
  • Assists with internal employee changes, crafting applicable paperwork and compensation documents and obtaining appropriate approval from leadership.
  • Audits integrity of employee data with HR and recruitment system.
  • Processes and adjudicates results of pre-employment screenings, working with company legal counsel when appropriate.
  • Verifies field offer and job posting submission for accuracy and compliance with existing job practices and company policies.
  • Assists with onboarding for pending acquisitions including creating new hire paperwork for a high volume of new hires associated with an acquisition.
  • Ensure all employee documents are correctly filed into the electronic filing system. 
  • Assists hiring managers with I-9 compliance and eVerify submission. 
  • Tracks and implements state and federal minimum wage increases throughout the year.
  • Provides assistance in the development of job descriptions; perform job analysis and evaluation of essential duties.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with all employee-related federal and state regulations.
  • Assists in various departmental projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent level of experience, training and education.
  •  Minimum of one year of experience at administrative support with emphasis on working with the Microsoft office suite.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) preferred
