Description -

The Strategy & Operations Lead is a critical role within the Global HP Solutions Marketing organization, responsible for driving division wide operational excellence, enabling strategic alignment, and ensuring flawless execution across worldwide marketing initiatives.

This role bridges the three business units that make up HP Solutions and acts as the critical single point of contact to unite and communicate priorities and strategies. You will Program manage key transformation initiatives as we continue our evolution into a commercial first marketing organisation. You will be leading agency planning and delivery, overseeing budget governance and purchase order (PO) management, and serving as a central point of communication for divisional strategy across both WW and Market stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong operational rigor with strategic commercial Marketing thinking and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, timelines, and measurable objectives.

  • Lead communication of divisional strategy across internal stakeholders and agency partners

  • Drive alignment across regions and functions to ensure consistent execution globally.

Agency Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end agency planning across WW HP Solutions Marketing Teams

  • Work alongside the Agency practice team to ensure implementation of the correct agency costs

  • Manage agency scopes of work (SOW), performance tracking, and delivery milestones.

  • Ensure clear briefs, strong governance, and accountability across agency engagements.

  • Evaluate agency performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Budget & Financial Operations

  • Working with the investment lead and budget controller, enable 100% Budget execution

  • Manage purchase order (PO) processes, ensuring timely creation, approvals, and reconciliation.

  • Maintain financial discipline and compliance with company procurement policies.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain best-in-class marketing operating rhythms (planning cycles, QBRs, reporting cadences).

  • Drive process improvements to enhance speed, transparency, and accountability.

  • Program management of transformation initiatives for verticals and division

  • Develop and communicate Strategy playbooks to enable execution of Global strategy in markets

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • In partnership with vertical business planners, drive alignment with Market marketing strategy & planning leads to ensure global consistency and local relevance.

  • Provide executive-ready updates and materials for leadership reviews.

  • Facilitate decision-making through structured analysis and clear recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategy, consulting, or related roles.

  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization.

  • Proven track record managing agencies and large-scale marketing budgets.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and PO management.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence without authority and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a worldwide or multi-regional marketing environment.

  • Background in management consulting, business operations, or marketing strategy.

  • Familiarity with marketing planning tools and financial management systems.

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred but not required).

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
