Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group in Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate transactions in a collaborative, high-growth practice that offers clear opportunities for advancement.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 4–5 years of substantive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing, and development of commercial real estate assets.
  • Real estate finance experience is strongly preferred.
  • AmLaw 200 experience required.
    • Familiarity with the pace and expectations of a sophisticated law firm environment is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on complex deals.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to handle complex legal documents.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of complex real estate transactions, including joint venture formations, financings, and the acquisition, dispositionleasing, and development of mixed-use and other commercial real estate assets across the United States.
  • Represent developers, investors, and financial institutions in high-profile real estate matters.
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced team of attorneys in a collegial and interactive practice.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on sophisticated commercial real estate matters.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Includes an annual base salary range of $220,000 – $260,000, commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus.
