As a Highway Rebar Project Manager, you will oversee complex transportation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce all safety programs, housekeeping practices, and site-specific protocols.
- Project Oversight: Manage highway, road, and bridge rebar construction projects from kickoff through close-out, coordinating all detailing, scheduling, delivery, and cost control activities.
- Contract & Drawing Review: Analyze contract documents, specifications, and drawings; identify discrepancies early and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison with contractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams to clarify scope, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Change Management: Track and document scope changes, collaborate with estimating teams to validate cost impact, and execute change-order procedures.
- Financial Stewardship: Monitor project budgets and financial performance, preparing regular status reports on progress, costs, and scheduling.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Generate project reports for leadership review; recommend process enhancements to boost productivity and accuracy.
