Summary:
This role maintains network infrastructure, with an emphasis on network security, cybersecurity, cloud-based platforms, data backup, and reliable internet access across all locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Manage and monitor the Network, ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running
- Perform regular network audits and upgrades for improvements.
- Manage Entra ID, Azure, SaaS, and the Microsoft environment.
- Manage Fortinet firewall, Endpoint protection, and VPN.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, firmware, and configuration changes in a timely manner
- Schedule change control for all network and cloud VM maintenance.
- Maintain reliable internet connectivity.
- Responsible for Accurate Network documentation.
- Maintain all backups and the disaster recovery plan.
- Assist in project management as needed
- Assist with workstation continuity and best practices
- Manage all technology inventories (software and hardware) for Network Equipment and systems, all sites.
- Assist with evaluating and ordering equipment
- Assist with managing vendor support as needed
- Assist with new hire orientations and training in required software
- Assist with Helpdesk on network, internet filter, and VOIP tickets.
- Support other key initiatives as the business dictates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Networking
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer service communication skills
- Solid work ethic, initiative, great customer service skills, available for on-call support, and good understanding of Business Continuity.
Additional:
- Strong Knowledge of the following:
- Operational efficiency on the Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Experiences in configuring Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft environment, Intune, and Microsoft OS based Virtual Machines.
- Management experience in operating Meraki, Fortinet, and Microsoft administration consoles.
- Good understanding of Network configuration (IP/Subnets, SDWAN), Network Security (VLAN, certificates, Authentication SSO), & Cybersecurity (Endpoints, VPN).
- Good understanding of Cloud-based storage (Egnyte) and backup (Backupify) aligns with Business Continuity.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Tessitura System.
- Manage stress professionally, calmly, and with urgency.
