Job description:

At TELUS Digital, we are bridging the gap between how a human thinks and how a machine writes code. As a Full-Stack AI Logic Specialist, you will join an elite squad of developers tasked with training AI to master the entire development lifecycle—from front-end interfaces to back-end logic. You aren't just writing code; you are teaching AI how to think like a Senior Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logic & Syntax Validation: Audit AI-generated code in Python and JavaScript to ensure it is functional and follows clean-code principles.
• Security Auditing: Evaluate code for common vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection or buffer overflows, to ensure the AI creates secure software.
• Multi-Turn Debugging: Design scenarios where the AI must identify, explain, and fix bugs within an existing codebase.
• Prompt Optimization: Improve the relationship between natural language instructions and functional code outputs.
• Library Testing: Check how the AI uses popular frameworks and libraries (like React or Django) to ensure high-quality results.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript is essential. Knowledge of Java, C++, or Go is a plus.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language to assist with localized technical comments and documentation.
• English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English to follow project guidelines and collaborate with our global team.
• Problem-Solving: A "Senior Reviewer" mindset with a passion for clean, efficient code.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $25 - $50 USD per hour
