Position Objectives

This role will provide financial and commercial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The analyst will evaluate project economics, analyze profitability at product line and district levels, monitor market trends, and provide competitive intelligence. This position partners closely with the Regional Controller to support budgeting, forecasting, performance improvement, cost optimization initiatives and other analytical duties.

Key Responsibilities

Finance / FP&A

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback assessments.
  • Analyze profitability of product lines, customers, and districts, identifying key performance drivers and recommending actions for improvement.
  • Perform break-even and scenario analysis by district and product line to support commercial and operational decisions.
  • Develop and track financial and operational KPIs by location and product line; support continuous performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate customer and contract economics, including margin impact of pricing, cost structure, and operational delivery.
  • Support tender reviews by assessing financial implications, risks, and return expectations.
  • Partner with the Regional Controller to prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational plans.
  • Assist in the analysis of actual performance versus budget and forecast, identifying key variances and providing insight to management.
  • Participate in identifying and monitoring margin expansion initiatives, including cost reduction, pricing improvement, and efficiency gains.
  • Prepare financial dashboards, reports, and presentations to support executive and regional decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Region Controller in the Month End reviews of P&L (District/Product Lines)
  • Support tender reviews and strategic proposals by assessing financial and commercial implications.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, business analysis, or commercial analytics, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and market research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Excel, financial reporting systems, and data visualization tools.
