Our growing team in Houston is seeking a Field Administrator to serve as the central hub between customers, technicians, vendors, and field managers. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role perfect for someone who thrives on juggling schedules, solving problems, and staying one step ahead in a field service environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $65,000 β $80,000/year (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, No Weekend Work
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize high volumes of calls, texts, and emails, responding within 15 minutes.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, technicians, and managersβvia email and phone.
- Use scheduling tools to coordinate field teams and vendors across multiple job sites.
- Maintain accurate customer records, job documentation, and invoice data.
- Follow up consistently with customers and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Adjust schedules in real-time to account for changes, delays, or technician availability.
- Support invoicing, pricing accuracy, and post-job documentation reviews.
RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, responsive approach.
- Ability to handle high communication volume and respond within 15 minutes across platforms.
- Experience in customer service, dispatching, or support roles.
- Advanced time management and problem-solving skills under minimal supervision.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with accurate data entry and job tracking abilities.
- Knowledge of home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) to schedule effectively.
- Confidence with scheduling and dispatch software.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in the home services industry or with dispatch platforms like ServiceTitan.
- Familiarity with basic accounting or invoicing practices.
- Experience managing high-volume administrative tasks and multitasking efficiently.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and customer de-escalation techniques.
- Geographic familiarity with Houston to optimize scheduling and routing.
- Flexibility with work hours (occasional after-hours availability preferred).
