The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will have a solid foundation in electrical design and analysis, with hands-on experience in project execution and cross-functional collaboration.  This role will oversee project delivery, and ensure adherence to global standards while supporting business growth through technical innovation.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in electrical design principles through both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes, hazardous location standards, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Provide problem solving skills on hazardous area applications, including area classifications, protection methods (e.g., Ex d, Ex e, Ex i), and compliance with global standards (NEC, IEC, API, etc.).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, R&D, and operations to develop application solutions, support business development, and align with customer needs.
  • Review and approve application drawings, schematics, and documentation packages.
  • Perform simple to intermediate electrical calculations, simulations, and risk assessments.
  • Support certification pathways for hazardous location equipment and system integration.
  • Serves as a role model for junior engineers by demonstrating competency of analytical skills and hands on leadership.

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (including data analysis using pivot tables).
  • Experience with engineering CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, and 3D modeling software).
  • Hands-on testing experience with proficiency in electrical measurement tools.
  • Good understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and international electrical standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with hazardous area applications, including control systems, instrumentation, and power distribution in hazardous environments.
  • Good understanding of hazardous location classifications, protection methods, and international standards (NEC, IEC, API, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems
