About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (Level III or higher) to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power critical infrastructure including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.

This is a senior-level opportunity requiring strong technical expertise, project leadership capability, and a deep understanding of power distribution systems within industrial or energy environments. Your work will directly impact operational reliability, safety performance, and long-term infrastructure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks

  • Support infrastructure including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities

  • Integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage systems

  • Implement arc flash mitigation strategies and fault detection systems to ensure personnel and equipment safety

  • Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts

  • Manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, and timelines

  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and all applicable safety and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, project management, and leadership

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Level III experience (mid-senior level) required

  • Minimum 4+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, oil & energy, data centers, or related industrial environments

  • Strong experience in power distribution systems

  • Proficiency reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements

  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated safety-first mindset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Power generation and controls experience

  • PLC and HMI system design and implementation experience

  • Project management experience

  • Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC project environments

  • Instrumentation system design experience
