Job Description – Electrical Engineer

Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Direct Hire

The Electrical Engineer will support the design, integration, and execution of electrical systems for large‑scale industrial and energy infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure reliable, safe, and compliant electrical design and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering deliverables including single‑line diagrams, load studies, and equipment specifications
• Support power distribution systems, MCCs, substations, grounding, and lighting systems
• Interface with vendors and review electrical equipment drawings and technical documentation
• Coordinate with controls, instrumentation, process, and mechanical teams
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and internal requirements
• Support troubleshooting and field resolution activities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience supporting electrical systems on industrial or energy projects
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and applicable electrical standards
• Experience supporting projects through construction and commissioning preferred
• Strong coordination and communication skills
