Driver

The Driver is responsible for delivering cabinets to each job, ensuring products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Key Targets and Responsibilities

• Excellent driving record
• Present valid state driver’s license
• Driving experience in a minimum 22 foot non CDL vehicle
• Excellent external and internal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be focused, confident and observant
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work in changing weather conditions
• Ability to supervise a driver’s helper
• Work patiently in time consuming situations (traffic jams, road blocks etc.)
• The capacity to carry out company obligations in an expert manner
• Knowledge of GPS devise usage
• Ability to learn and use the Dynamics field application daily
• Knowledge of reading a map if required
• Ability to work on a set and/or changing schedule to meet company requirements
• Ability to work weekends if needed
• Follow Routes and time schedules
• Deliver product to different addresses through different routes
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Physically capable of lifting boxes up to 75 pounds
• Transport boxes using dollies and pallet jacks

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• High school degree or equivalent
• Residential construction experienced preferred
• Solid understanding of cabinets, countertops, windows, doors and flashing
• The successful candidate must be a strong team player who is able to work autonomously when required
