Job Description

Job Title: Digital Content and Performance Marketing Specialist  

Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094

Job Overview:

The Digital Content and Performance Marketing Specialist orchestrates content and paid media strategies across a diverse digital ecosystem—including multiple websites (careers, retail, franchise development, extended warranty) and corresponding local and corporate social/listing pages. By optimizing SEO, managing paid campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams and agency partners, this role increases brand visibility, engages various target audiences, and drives business growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and implement content development across digital channels to achieve SEO objectives, maintain a consistent brand voice and leverage new or updated assets. 
  • Manage and optimize paid media strategies (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Yelp Ads) through self-managed campaigns and partnership oversight. 
  • Research and recommend campaign optimizations (audience targeting, geo, demographic, creative, bid strategy) to maximize ROI. 
  • Develop or collaborate on creative assets (written, visual, interactive) with internal teams and agencies, ensuring brand consistency.  
  • Analyze user experience (UX) across brand properties and run testing frameworks to improve on-site conversions. 
  • Generate regular performance reports using native platforms and Domo to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Assist with digital training materials for marketing coaches and franchisees. 
  • Provide domain expertise in website, listing, social media, and email marketing channels to support local franchisees. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, media planning and buying, SEO, SEM, content marketing, or related role with emphasis on digital marketing. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on explaining marketing concepts to non-marketers. 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Required technical proficiency: Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.  

Preferred (but not required):  

  • Experience with email marketing and Marketo 
  • Experience with Yelp Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other programmatic Ad platforms 
  • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills 
  • Basic HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, REST APIs and other web technologies 
  • Experience with content management systems – Scorpion’s CMS 
  • Experience with consent management systems – Osano 
  • Experience with SEO/SEM monitoring tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or SEOmoz 
  • Experience in a franchise organization or automotive/aftermarket automotive industry 

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
