We are looking for a dependable, respnsible and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to transport construction materials to job sites. This role involves working closely with site managers, loading and unloading heavy materials, and ensuring timely deliveries to support ongoing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load, transport, and unload construction materials such as lumber, steel, concrete products, and equipment.
Deliver materials to various construction sites according to schedules and routing plans.
Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and site supervisors to confirm delivery details.
Verify orders against delivery tickets before departure and upon arrival.
Operate trucks, flatbeds, or other company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment (if certified) to handle heavy or bulky items.
Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Follow all safety protocols when operating vehicles and handling materials on-site.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience delivering construction materials or working in construction preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of basic construction materials and handling procedures a plus.
Work Environment
Frequent travel between warehouse and various outdoor construction sites.
Exposure to outdoor elements, dust, and noise.
May require early morning starts, overtime, or weekend work.
Work hours: 6:30am-3:30pm M-F
