Contract Administrator

METECS is an engineering company, headquartered in Houston, TX, just outside the gates of NASA’s Johnson Space Center.  We are looking for a self-motivated, high performing candidate who will provide contract administration, subcontract administration, compliance activities, financial reporting, and milestone monitoring in support of our NASA and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Works with management to ensure company and project resources stay within budget
• Support program planning for contracts
• Preparation of cost estimates and financial reporting
• Assurance of compliance with contract requirements
• Review subcontractor invoices and prepare corresponding payment vouchers
• Assist in preparation of subcontracts, subcontract contract modifications, and work orders

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 0-3 years of contract administration experience
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word Skills
• Strong prioritization, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Clauses (FAR) clauses
• Experience working with NASA

This position is expected to be 100% in person.

Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
