The project\: 

Mace North America is seeking a talented Data Analyst for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.  In this pivotal role you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with clients delivering iconic major capital projects.

Creates new reporting and analytics solutions. Responsible for all aspects of the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design, build, test and transition to support data and analytics service solutions.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Designs, develops and supports reporting BI and analytics solutions based on Microsoft Power BI.

  • Engages with key business stakeholders to gather BI requirements and build meaningful insights for internal customers.

  • Provides data analysis, master data management and quality assurance as part of solutions.

  • Maintains and provides comprehensive and up to date knowledge of technology platforms to implement new innovations and features.

  • Engages with the data architecture team to scope out changes to data and information architecture.

  • Works collaboratively toward the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

  • Builds robust solutions with maintenance and support of the application in mind.

  • Maintains and provides comprehensive and up to date knowledge of technology platforms to implement new  innovations & features.

  • Engages with the data architecture team to scope out changes to data and information architecture.

  • Engages with IT Service management to successfully transition deliverables into service.

  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience working within a similar data/BI role with a background in design, development, and support of  BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI service, Power Query, DAX.

  • Ability to generate actionable insights from complex data sets.

  • Experience working with a delivery team that is fully responsible for the quality of the solutions they build and deploy.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently yet open and collaborative.

  • Experience working in a similar role on a large programme.

  • Full project lifecycle experience across a number of large projects.

  • Knowledge of IT Service management based on ITIL practices.

  • Experience working with a delivery team that is fully responsible for the quality of the solutions they build and deploy.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently yet open and collaborative.

  • Experience working in a similar role on a large program.

  • Full project lifecycle experience across a number of large projects.

  • Knowledge of IT Service management based on ITIL practices.

  • Microsoft cloud and data platform-related certifications desirable.

  • Experience working within a similar data/BI role with a background in design, development, and support of BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI service, power Query, DAX.

  • Ability to generate actionable insights from complex data sets.

  • Experience with ML/AI, Python, Spark, TSQL.

  • Experience working with common enterprise software platforms including HCM and ERP.

  • Oracle Unifier experience required.

  • Prior experience in construction industry is advantageous.

You’ll also have:

  • Experience using core Azure technologies.

  • Experience with ML/AI, Python, Spark, TSQL.

  • Experience working with common enterprise software platforms including HCM, and ERP.

  • Oracle experience advantageous.

  • Previous experience in the construction sector is advantageous but not essential.

  • Microsoft cloud and data platform-related certifications.

Note\: The estimated salary for this position is $100,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
