Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial office portfolio totaling approximately 500,000 square feet across seven properties in Houston. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure high-quality tenant service, efficient building operations, and strong financial performance. Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily operations of multiple office properties
Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant requests and ensure timely resolution
Coordinate maintenance and vendor services; oversee service contracts
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Review and process invoices, track expenses, and assist with reconciliations
Conduct property inspections to ensure appearance and maintenance standards
Assist with lease administration, including abstracting and tracking key dates
Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs and buildout activities
Ensure compliance with building policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Support capital improvement projects as needed
Qualifications
2β5+ years of experience in commercial property management (office preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and tenant relations abilities
Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
Basic understanding of leases, CAM reconciliations, and budgeting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compensation
Salary Range: $65,000 β $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Performance-based bonus potential

Full-time, Monday β Friday
Standard business hours: 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM
Occasional after-hours availability may be required for emergencies or special projects
