This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Houston, TX. 

Looking for local candidates. Will be required to be in office. 

JOB SUMMARY: The SyteLine Functional Administrator is the primary functional owner of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine/CSI). This role partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, document functional requirements, configure the application, and lead testing and user adoption. The role ensures the ERP supports day-to-day operations effectively and that changes are delivered with strong documentation, controls, and training. This position also requires availability for occasional after-hours or weekend support to address high-priority incidents, maintenance activities, or planned system upgrades.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary functional administrator for SyteLine/CSI, providing day-to-day support across assigned modules and business processes.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams or Infor/partners when code changes are required.
  • Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to document current-state and future-state workflows.
  • Write clear functional requirements (FRDs/user stories), including process flows, business rules, data needs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into SyteLine configuration and/or enhancement specifications.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, and UAT scenarios; coordinate UAT execution and sign-off.
  • Manage defect intake, triage, and retest cycles; validate changes meet requirements before production release.
  • Support cutover activities, hypercare planning, and Day 1 readiness.
  • Configure and maintain SyteLine settings, parameters, and master data governance within approved controls.
  • Identify process improvements, recommend best practices, and drive standardization across sites.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and end-user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT/DBA/Integration teams on environment readiness, release scheduling, and downstream impacts.
  • Support reporting and data needs by defining requirements and validating outputs.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None Required

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • 5+ years supporting ERP systems in a functional capacity. Infor CSI/SyteLine experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of core ERP processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory/Warehouse, Manufacturing, Finance).
  • Proven experience writing functional requirements and leading UAT/testing with documented test scripts.
  • Strong communication skills: can work with shop floor to finance leadership and translate needs into clear specs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to provide support outside regular business hours when required.

  • Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc. while working in Engineering laboratory, assembly areas and field service machine shop.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
