We are on the hunt for our next Area Sales Manager (ASM). If you
are armed with experience to develop a team into high performing sales
professionals, then we want to talk to you.
ASMs are responsible for the development and performance of all
sales activities within their markets. These leaders are not only responsible
for finding the right candidates to build a killer sales team, but also to
provide guidance towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth,
in line with PrimePay’s vision and values.
As you
can imagine, no two days are the same for ASMs, but you can expect to:
- Develop
a business plan and sales strategy for your market to ensure you’re always on
our sales leaderboard by attaining sales goals and profitability.
- Be
responsible for the performance and development of Outside Sales Account
Executives team.
- Prepare
action plans for individuals and the team to source leads and prospects.
- Initiate
and coordinate development of these plans to enter existing and new markets. We support the use of social media to break
new ground!
- Work
with Marketing to implementation new plans and promotions, as needed.
- Conduct
one-on-one reviews with all Outside Sales Account Executives to build effective
communications, understand training and development needs, and to provide
insight for the improvement of their sales and activity performance.
- Provide
timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Deliver
timely, accurate, competitive pricing for all non-standard opportunities submitted
for pricing and approval, all while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintain
accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by
Outside Sales Account Executives.
- Create
and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Assist
Outside Sales Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Manage
expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adhere
to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. You’ll be
responsible for communicating and implementing within your team as well.
- Recruit,
test, and hire Outside Sales Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon
by senior management.

- Conducting regular
coaching and counseling sessions with Outside Sales Account Executives to
build motivation and selling skills.
- Maintaining and holding
your team accountable for contact with all clients in your market to
ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrating your
ability to interact and cooperate with all PrimePay employees.
- Conducting weekly
sales meetings with your entire team.
- Conducting those
weekly one-on-one meetings with each sales representative.
- Traveling in the field
sales team members to assess skills and abilities.
- Reviewing
Salesforce.com on a regular basis to track team activity.

- Recent management
experience within the payroll/HR services industry, or 5+ years of top-performing
sales experience within the payroll/HR services industry, a must.
- Knowledge with
solutions selling to small and medium size businesses.
- Extensive experience
in all aspects of B2B relationship management.
- Strong understanding
of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel
and work in a team of professionals.
- Over 2 years of proven and
documented success record in leadership, with the ability to drive sales
teams.
