Duties

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances accurately.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and ladder diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure appliances operate at peak performance.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience.
• Maintain detailed service records, parts inventories, and repair logs for accountability and future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles with a strong background in service technician tasks.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, plumbing basics, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals with confidence.
• Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment necessary for appliance repairs.
• Experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles as a delivery driver or field technician is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with maintenance operations involving MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), assembly processes, and equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating large vehicles such as box trucks is advantageous.
