We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join NextEra Energy's finance team. In this role, you will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and statements
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional communication abilities
