Apply the principles of accounting in order to prepare timely, accurate financial records in compliance with the company's policies and procedures and related internal controls.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible recording and processing all non-AP and payroll cash journal entries in a timely manner as required by the monthly close schedule.
• Responsible for preparing preliminary bank reconciliations and account analysis for bank accounts with variances no later that 5 days of close.
• Communicate with field offices and various departments on cash receipt applications or other information required for recording cash, as necessary.
• Reconcile and correct inter-company out of balances relating to cash accounting group entries.
• Assist with audit requests, new hire raining, and special projects assigned to support direct supervisor and manager.
• Prepare schedules for the financial reporting group as assigned (Greenbook).

Education:

• Minimum Required: Some College in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferred Level: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum Required: 1-2 years in Accounting.
• Preferred Level: GL Accounting with emphasis on Cash Accounting and Accounts Receivable.

Skills:

• Minimum Required: Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing. Working knowledge of general ledger accounting with analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred Level: Advanced Excel skills, familiar with our ERP system (Oracle PeopleSoft experience a plus), and foreign exchange.

Pre-Requisite/ Qualification:

• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment background check.
